“Connected:

An Autobiography About Love, Death & Technology”

Dir. by Tiffany Shlain

'Connected' offers an exhilarating stream-of-consciousness ride through the interconnectedness of humankind, nature, progress and morality at the dawn of the 21st century. With insight, curiosity, and humor, the film weaves both a personal and global story about interdependence. For centuries we've been declaring independence, this film asks if perhaps it's time to declare our interdependence instead.

My objective is to inspire with stories of five 4th stage cancer survivors who have far exceeded their dire diagnosis and prognosis; This film is about cancer survivors who have lived exciting and fulfilling lives after a 4th stage diagnosis. I want this to inspire families and friends of cancer survivors and people without illness in their lives and see that they can change their lives also. I want to show how cancer is different today and becoming more of a manageable disease in our lifetime

“Connected: An Autobiography About Love, Death & Technology”

Dir. by Tiffany Shlain

Dr. Ego's hideous genetic experiments have disturbed the peace of Animalario, a city at the edge of chaos. Gatto, a skilled detective hasn't ceased in his quest to stop EGO and restore order; but this time, a lethal hyena will do her utmost to stand in his way.
Rooted in various features of dark novel, Animalario presents animals as the characters of a world where ethics, justice and evil set the stage in a fight for social order.

PL Beach, filled with bikini girls, is Sharon and Rachel's homeland. They work in Uncle Dao's restaurant, which is located in the heart of PL Beach.

The owner of PL Beach, Mrs. Brewer, is planning to convert the beach into a holiday resort. Uncle Dao tries to ask Mrs. Brewer not to take down the beach. As saved Mr. and Mrs. Brewer's life many years ago, Mrs. Brewer is willing to give the beach inhabitants a chance. If Sharon and Rachel beat her daughters and win the Hong Kong Beach Volleyball Tournament, Mrs. Brewer will cancel the resort planning.

To improve their volleyball skills, Uncle and Auntie Dao teaches Sharon and Rachel Chinese kung-fu. Can they win the tournament and save PL Beach?

“Homunculus”

by Austen Brauker

“The Particles-Taken Away”

Dir. by Fred Khoshtinat

Gruesome attacks ignite area locals to hunt for cougars in the deep forests of northern Michigan. Native tribal elders, corrupt police and backwoods drug dealers become intertwined in the confusion as mangled human and animal bodies are discovered. A psychopathic doctor has created a Homunculus, a mythical humanoid monster, using an ancient alchemical tome. The doctor searches for the Philosopher's Stone, a healing elixir, derived from a gelatinous discharge that seeps from the monster's ankles. The secretion can fuse the severed dead flesh of different species. The Homunculus creates ghastly reanimated abominations from the people and animals that it kills. A young man must embrace the teachings of his Indian grandfather if there is any hope to overcome the Homunculus and save the entire community.

You do not need to go to the movies to experience massive special effects that would make Michael Bay jealous. You do not need to go to Metropolitan Museum of Art to hear the instruments dating back thousands of years and you do not need to visit Brooklyn to hear the most unique collaborations, these things can all be found in the video from The Particles titled Taken Away.
