When young Ruby's father returns unexpectedly from war, his volatile state makes it difficult for the family to reconnect. Ruby's anxieties are projected onto a pair of ravens, vigilantly defending their nearby nest, who become a catalyst for the troubled family's journey from crisis to healing.

“ Departing “

Dir. by Miroslav Nincic

With the ecosystem destroyed after a nuclear war, Mari, a survivor, does all she can to rebuild. When she stumbles upon a robot soldier in an abandoned city, everything changes.

Death is our only existential certainty, one many of us think about but few like to discuss. This film examines the choices we have when facing the end of life, our expectations (if any) about a possible afterlife, and the hopes science holds for delaying death (or reversing it in the future).
